Vintage Lapis Lazuli Squash Blossom Ring

A well made and beautifully detailed lapis lazuli ring, with a blossom at the top with leaves and flower parts bursting forth. The lapis is a uniform and deeper blue, and a good size to make a statement but not to overwhelm the hand.

Lapis lazuli has been a prized stone since ancient times thousands of years ago, and has long-held associations with deities and royalty. Today, it's often associated with wisdom, love and healing.

A well made Native American piece.

HISTORY: Stamped STC, which I believe is the Skyway Trading Company from New Mexico, which offered Native American jewelry through the late 1970's. This ring is estimated 1970's.

MATERIALS: Sterling silver, lapis lazuli

SIZE: Ring size 8.5. The ring measures 3/4" from east to west and 7/8" north to south. The lapis stone measures 9/16" by 7/16".

CONDITION: Beautiful vintage condition, no issues
