Philadelphia jeweler

Good to meet you, I'm Stacey Fay. I do the sacred work of storytelling through the medium of jewelry. My tiny talismans are at once vibrant and poignant, often capturing the emotions and life transitions that deserve to be honored.  From handcrafted pieces and custom designs to vintage treasures, intention and meaning is the thread that weaves through everything I offer.

In a culture that is increasingly fast, disconnected and disposable, I cultivate interconnectedness, slowness and depth in my work. I feel it is a vital part of humanity and the lived experience to have a deeper relationship with ourselves and the world around us. My jewelry is imbibed with personal stories, historical significance and a sense of tradition.

I am based in Narberth, Pennsylvania just minutes outside of Philadelphia, PA. Much of my handmade jewelry is made right here in historic Jewelers' Row in Philadelphia.

Ethical Jewelry Made in Philadelphia

I believe in supporting the local economy and ensuring art forms are given the chance to survive. To that end, most of the Memoir and Revival jewelry lines are brought to life by local artisans right in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA, using time-honored techniques such as hand engraving and hand enameling. Each collection is sustainably made using recycled metals and ethical stones.

Custom Designed Jewelry

I am the jeweler people seek when they can't find pieces out there that fit their personal sense of story and style.  In the custom process you and I go deep, so I can design something that completely resonates with your story, your desires, your time of life and your sense of self. As you’ll see in the Memoir jewelry line, some pieces can be customized slightly to make them unique to you, and as you'll see in the custom portfolio, there is a wide range of completely custom jewelry I bring to life.  Visit our custom jewelry page to get started.

I'm a Maker...A Mother...A Jewelry Designer...A Curator...A Philanthropist.

“Ring the bells that still can ring, forget your perfect offering. There is a crack in everything, that’s how the light gets in.”

– Leonard Cohen

I believe that a life well-lived is one where you celebrate the stories that make you unique. We are all so diverse, aren't we? Our jewelry should speak to all our experiences.

Growing Up Came With Big Lessons...For Me, Loss and Mourning

sibling loss, mourning ring, sister loss, sister ring

This lesson to live life to the fullest has been hard won; throughout my teens and twenties, I experienced one difficult and major life event after another, including the loss of my father at age 12, the “absence” of my mother due to mental illness, and the loss of my sister suddenly and devastatingly.

Through my grief, I spent most of my young adulthood learning to survive, and to focus on the beauty life has to offer even in the most difficult of circumstances. It was at this time that the jewelry dream started, but couldn’t take off until I was at a point of wholeness.

Stacey Fay Designs Was My New Beginning

That point came in 2014, after a year of many changes—loss of my mother, love through marriage, and an awe-inspiring honeymoon to France. It was the wake up call I needed to start my own business, Stacey Fay Designs jewelry.

Each of the chapters in my life—the punk rocker, the nature lover, the survivor and the seeker—come together with Stacey Fay Designs. My offerings symbolize the life experiences that link us all, whether through meaningful Memoir jewelry, or antique jewelry holding the history of generations.
