Victorian Double Sided Large Locket

A gorgeous and uniquely large Victorian locket, with two distinct designs on each side, and two original photos. One shows a Victorian woman in a tin type photo, and the flip side shows a gentleman from the 1950's or so (the two are glued together). The dual designs on this locket leave it up to the wearer to wear whichever way she pleases!

HISTORY:
There are no maker's marks on this piece, but given its material and size (large lockets were commonplace in the late 1800's), and the photo inside, we estimate this to be Victorian.

SIZE:
Large! This oval locket measures approximately 1.5" by 1.25". It is placed on a newer vintage 16" gold filled chain (write us to get this on an 18" gold filled chain for no additional cost).

MATERIALS:
Gold fill

CONDITION:
This locket has been well loved. There are a multitude of scratches, particularly on the domed side (see photos), but it still shines beautifully, wears well, and shuts securely. The pattern on this particular piece along with the tin type photo inside is what makes it so special.
