Vintage Micromosaic Guitar Pin

For hundreds of years micromosaic jewelry has been a part of the Italian tourist industry, with artisans in Italy crafting beautiful scenescapes using small pieces of cut glass. The older and more refined the piece, the smaller the glass tends to be, to such a point that you cannot even discern it's glass at all. In this case we have a more modern brooch, circa 1970's, in the shape of a guitar and with a beautiful and vibrantly colored flower design making up the mosaic. Surrounding the flowers and up the guitar neck are gorgeous blues, from indigo to turquoise in color.

HISTORY: 1970's MATERIALS: Gold tone metal, glass

SIZE: A daintier brooch, measuring 1.5" in length by 5/8" in width.

CONDITION: Beautiful vintage condition. The pin mechanism works great and the mosaic pieces are all intact.
