Gold Filled Flower Charm Holder and Pin
An interesting and lovely piece - a 1940's brooch/fob/pendant combination made by the company Van Dell. It can be worn as a brooch and charms added to the bottom, hung on the fob. Or, if you flip it around, it can be worn on a necklace such that the flower brooch hangs like a pendant. The other interesting element to this brooch is that the entire thing is gold filled aside from the pinback, indicating that may have been added later. A beautiful piece that could easily be used as a bridal hair pin/brooch/pendant as well.
HISTORY: Stamped Van Dell, a company founded in 1943 in Providence, RI.
MATERIALS: 12k gold filled metal (nearly the entire piece), silver tone metal (the pinback)
SIZE: This measures 1 3/8" top to bottom and 1.5" east to west.
CONDITION: Gorgeous condition. The pin clasp and bottom clasps both work great, and the gold fill is intact.
