Rustic Floral Diamond Cigar Band | Size 7 1/4

An absolute stunner of a vintage piece - an earthy organic design combined with sparkling and vibrant bezel set diamonds. A delicate yet detailed flower and leaf design in rosy gold runs around the entire ring eternity style, with the diamonds set in white gold in the middle of each flower. The diamonds are slightly undulating and each diamond has beautiful hand cut facets, a hallmark of older cuts. This piece would make a wonderful wedding band for the vintage and earth-centered bride. 

HISTORY: We estimate this at the 1950's, given the older cut of diamond used and the overall design.  The ring was sized up at one point in its history, evident in the photos.  We believe this ring to be hand pierced and fabricated, the craftsmanship is outstanding.

MATERIALS: 14k gold and diamonds. 

SIZE: Ring size 7 1/4 (although this will fit a bit smaller given the width of the band), and while it was resized once in the past we don't recommend resizing again given the eternity pattern and overall style. There are a total of 10 diamonds around the band, each approximately 2.5 mm (.06ct), for an estimated total carat weight of .6 ct. This is a hefty ring with a lot of gold, weighing 5.4 g.   The band measures just shy of 3/8" in width. 

CONDITION: Overall great condition - the detail to the band is still intact, and the band is still quite thick. Please note, however, that this band has been sized up in the past - see photos.  Thus there is a portion of the band where the design does not match exactly and there is a break in the diamonds.  Whoever resized this piece did a pretty good job of matching up with the leaf design, albeit with a bit less detail than the original.
