Chinese Pink Coral Gold Drop Earrings

Across the world and particularly in Asian cultures, coral has been regarded as a talisman for good luck, health, healing and passion. This is a classic pair of drop earrings with large teardrop shaped coral slices taking center stage. The coral in these earrings is a vibrant but soft shade of salmon, one of the most preferred colors. In between the large drop and the small coral piece that sits on the ear is a Chinese character.

HISTORY: Modern estate jewelry, estimated less than 20 years old.

MATERIALS: Pink coral, 14k gold

SIZE: These earrings measure 1 9/16" in length and the teardop measures 5/16" in width. They weigh 3.82 g.

CONDITION: Great condition. One thing to note is that the loops connecting each of the pieces of the earring are not soldered, they are the equivalent of fixed jump rings. They are closed but not soldered shut.
