Vintage Turquoise Tribal Cross Necklace

A gorgeous and ornate necklace with deep green turquoise. Representing the four directions or a tribal cross, this necklace has tremendous symbolism as well as a bohemian beauty to it. It is also reminiscent of Tibetan jewelry. A great statement necklace.

HISTORY:
We estimate this to be from the 1970's; lack of a distinct style or maker's marks make it difficult to date precisely.

MATERIALS:
Sterling silver and green turquoise in the pendant. The chain is new and is made from argentium silver (a higher percentage silver than Sterling).

SIZE:
A statement piece, measuring 1.5" wide and 1 3/4" tall. The stone measures 5/16" in diameter. The chain is 18" in length.

CONDITION:
Great condition. Stone is set strong and there are very few scratches on the backside. We left much of the original patina on this piece for character.
