Colorful Scarab Screw Back Earrings

Since the tombs of ancient Egypt, scarabs have been used as protective talismans, symbolizing renewal and rebirth. This pair of retro earrings has two beautifully carved scarabs on each ear, with a stylish and decorative loop between them. As screwback earrings, these are both classic and perfect for the person without pierced ears. The green and red stones look gorgeous when the light shines through.

HISTORY: Retro 1960's; signed with "Art" in a star.

MATERIALS: 12k gold filled metal, carnelian, green chalcedony

SIZE: These measures 13/16" from one scarb to another on the longest side, and 5/8" from the circle design to the end of the open loop. They're really lightweight for their size.

CONDITION: Excellent. No wear to the gold fill except a tiny bit on the actual screw. Appear to have been barely used!
