Vintage Floral Beaded Belt

This floral belt is outrageously good!  I have never included accessories other than jewelry in my shop but this was a must. There's just something about hand woven seed bead art - it can capture wonderful details, and despite its actual age, it speaks to an earlier time when crafts of this sort were a regular addition to any household and any outfit.  

The belt features multi-hued roses, leaves and small flowers in a repeating pattern end to end.  The entire pattern is made with seed beads that are hand stitched onto a fabric base. It's so vibrant and well made. 

This belt is slightly adjustable from 33-35", as it has two sets of buttons.  See size measurements and photos for details.  It's certainly meant to sit low on the waist, flapper style. 

HISTORY: My best estimate is 1980's.  While the overall look of the belt seems older, the buttons are not quite matching that.  It is certainly hand done, you can see the imperfect hand stitching on the back.  So great!

CONDITION: Beautiful vintage condition.

SIZE: The length of this piece is 35.5" overall but can become 33" when the second set of buttons is used.  It's got a little weight to it with all those beads and the fabric!

This belt would be so beautiful as part of a wedding or formal occasion ensemble.
