Victorian Ruby and Rose Cut Diamond Ring

$600

An absolutely delicious Victorian ring that dazzles with its sparkling rose cut diamonds and its pink ruby at the center. I just love the flower design and the ornate shoulders. Inside there is a well worn inscription, likely from one lover to another: "GT to G..." and we'll never know the rest of it, as it has faded into history.

HISTORY: Early 1900's Victorian.  This piece is stamped with the maker's mark for M.B. Bryant and company out of NYC, which was established in 1858 and stopped making jewelry in the 1930's.

MATERIALS: 10k rose gold (tested, not marked), ruby and rose cut diamonds.

CONDITION: While the band on this is certainly thinner, as to be expected with age, it is otherwise in great condition. Given the age of the piece I recommend this only be worn as it once was, as a dress ring.

SIZE: Ring size 5. The diamonds measure 1.5mm and the ruby measures 2.5mm.

An incredibly special ring with amazing history! This would make a meaningful and romantic gift.

*Please note antique ring box not included with ring purchase.
