Old European Cut Diamond Trilogy Engagement Ring

A classic 1930's ring! A substantial center diamond - .4 carats - is flanked by smaller diamonds on either side. The diamonds are set in white gold, with a yellow gold shank/band. It has a gorgeous pierced design in the setting and gallery. We love the curves to those shoulders! This would make for a perfect engagement ring, or even a right hand stacking ring.

See a video of this ring on You Tube, as the pictures don't do it justice:

HISTORY: 1930's late Art Deco, as evidenced by the Old European cut center diamond, mix of yellow and white gold, and overall style. The ring is marked 14k.

MATERIALS: 14k yellow gold with 14k white gold setting. Diamonds - center stone is SI clarity and K in color, and the two side diamonds are SI in clarity and J in color.

SIZE: Ring size 6 1/4. Center stone is .4 ct, and the two stones flanking are .05 carats each for a total estimated weight of half a carat. Weighs 2.16g, and the "rise" of the setting from the finger is 5 mm.

CONDITION: Overall good condition. The band is thin at the bottom, which you can see in the photo, and the prongs on the center diamond should be retipped in the next few years.

*Note that this ring was acquired from, and assessed by, a GIA certified appraiser. The antique ring box in the photo not included with purchase.
