Etruscan Revival Filigree Locket
From the beautiful filigree style wirework, to the intricate cross as its centerpiece, this is a lovely locket reminiscent of the Etruscan Revival period of jewelry. Made slightly later in the late Victorian period, this still captures much of the detail and alllure of jewelry of that Etruscan era. We've placed this locket on a newer vintage gold filled chain.
HISTORY: Stamped W.E.H. is for the Walter E. Hayward Company founded in 1851 in New England.
MATERIALS: Gold filled locket and chain
SIZE; The locket, not counting the jump ring, measures 1 1/4" north to south and 7/8" east to west. The chain is 16" in length.
CONDITION: Fair condition. The locket opens and shuts as it should, and the front is in great condition. The back has wear to the gold fill, as seen in the photos, and the inside no longer has the photo protectors.
A lovely locket! *Please note, antique box not included with purchase.
