Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré Religious Medal

The Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré is a basilica set along the Saint Lawrence River in Quebec, Canada, credited by the Catholic Church with many miracles of curing the sick and disabled. It is an important Catholic sanctuary, which receives about a half-million pilgrims each year.This lovely vintage sterling silver medal features St. Anne on the front and the Basilica on the back. We've placed this on a new sterling silver chain.

HISTORY: 1940's

MATERIALS: Sterling silver

SIZE: 18" chain. The medal hangs 7/8" from the chain and measures 3/4" in width.

CONDITION: Chain is new. The medal is in great condition, albeit with a patina which we've left largely intact (it helps bring out the details of the piece).
