Art Deco Blister Pearl Ring

A vibrantly colored blister Pearl is shouldered by intricate hearts in this late Art Deco ring. The Pearl is mountainous, rising well above the setting of the ring. A wonderful, wonderful, ring, which was recently used in a Peaky Blinders' photoshoot (published in Vintage Life and Style magazine this year!).

This ring has the hallmark of "J", but it appears other parts of the hallmark have worn off, making it difficult to identify the maker. Given the blister Pearl and the style, we date this to the 1940's.

Blister Pearl and sterling silver

Ring size 6 1/4. The Pearl measures 3/4" by 3/8" and rises 1/4" above the shank at its highest point.

This ring has been well loved - the Pearl does have a chip in it, as seen in the photo, and we have left some of the patina that has come with its age. Both add tremendous character!

A great ring that is really reminiscent of the female form. *Please note that antique ring box not included with purchase.
