Darkened Cannetille Filigree Bib Necklace

This entire antique necklace is handmade filigree and beads - it is of remarkable craftsmanship. With the motif of three interlocking circles, it is reminiscent to a Celtic knot, shamrock, or trinity symbol. Each circle has wrapped filigree and soldered balls on top creating a gorgeous design. The beads are a mix of handmade tubular style beads and hammered interlocking woven style beads - see photos.

HISTORY: 1940's

SIZE: This necklace fits close to the neck at a 16" length. Each three circle piece (counting the dangling smaller filigree bead) measures approximately 1" across and 1 3/8" in length.

MATERIAL: This necklace is sterling silver, but has achieved this wonderful black patina after so many decades. I am leaving it untouched, as the patina gives it tremendous depth and character, and really helps the intricate design pop.

CONDITION: Absolutely gorgeous, fantastic condition. There is the deep patina as mentioned earlier.

This is a simply stunning necklace, and would look amazing as a bridal piece!
