Three coiled snakes, three old cut sparkling diamonds, and one amazing band - this Victorian snake ring would make an outstanding gent's wedding band. anniversary or everyday ring. The warmth and smoothness of the gold come only with a ring that has been well loved and worn often over the years.
The number three holds strong symbolic weight across cultures and time - the Christian trinity, the three graces often seen in Greek and Italian neoclassical art, the list goes on. Snake symbolism traces back to ancient times, and was a motif very prevalent in the Victorian era. It holds symbolism around unending love, fertility, wisdom and immorality.
