Midcentury Matching Wedding Ring Set

An amazing retro engagement and wedding ring set!   

History:

We estimate this ring set to be retro 1950’s. The wedding band is stamped “Crown Jewel.” 
Both pieces are stamped “Pat FI-L.”

Diamonds & Metal: 

The engagement ring, in 14k yellow gold tipped in white gold, holds a .08ct center diamond flanked by four small diamonds (north, south, east, west) which visually give the look of one larger one. Two .01ct diamonds adorn each curved shoulder.

Accompanying the engagement ring is a delicate wedding band with 3 small diamonds at .01ct each. This band is also a matching 14k yellow gold band and topped with 14k white gold.

Size:

The engagement ring measures a 5 and the band measures a size 4 3/4. 

The engagement ring has a 5mm high and wide classic square pierced setting.

Other Unique Features:

The wedding band has a retractable piece which would have originally made it connect into the engagement ring. See photo.
