Antique Edwardian pearl starburst brooch

A lovely Edwardian (early 1900's) era starburst brooch which can also be worn as a pendant. This starburst style was incredibly popular in this historical period, with this one of a daintier size than most. Seed pearls adorn each gorgeous curve of this piece, with a total of 30 pearls - 5 on each of the 6 curves - and one slightly larger pearl in the center held up in a buttercup setting.

The style and size of this piece would make for a beautiful wedding hair pin, or an everyday brooch. This year has been deemed one where brooches are very much back in fashion!

Please note that this piece can be worn as a pendant, but I will need to add two jump rings to the back to do so. I'm happy to do that (with gold filled jump rings) at no charge - please message me after purchase to let me know you'd like them included.

HISTORY: 1910's Edwardian. No maker's marks

MATERIALS: Marked and tests for 10k gold. Seed pearls

Size: Dainty. Measuring 13/16" in diameter.

Condition: The seed pearls are in overall good condition, with a few which have seen some wear over the years. That wear is barely noticeable given the small size of the pearls.
