Antique 1940's Monogram Photo Locket with Vintage Chain

Antique lockets are increasingly hard to find and this is a classic and beautiful one. This locket has a blank front and lovely hand engraving on the flip side. The three cursive letters appear to read "MCK".  

HISTORY: There are no maker's marks on this piece to date it specifically, but we estimate this to be from the 1940's.

MATERIAL: Gold filled 

CONDITION: This is a beautiful locket with some wear to the gold fill to be expected with age, mainly on the edge of the locket, and on the chain.  It opens and closes well and still has the holders inside to hold photos in place. 

SIZE: This is a good medium sized locket, measuring 7/8" in diameter. It hangs from the chain 1 1/4". The chain measures 16".

A perfect everyday locket that would make a great gift.
