Antique Platinum Wedding Band Engraved Dec 28 1936

So dainty and beautifully engraved - a platinum band engraved on the outside with very light hatchings all around, and engraved on the inside with a sentimental and romantic message which appears to be "R. M. E. to E.W. 12.28.36 ". This band has a slight beveling to it, with the outer engraved edges dropping off from a center line. This design makes it a perfect stacking ring - classic and nearly plain, but with just enough flair to be unique.

This piece is so easily layered, as either a bridal wedding band or an everyday ring, and it embodies Art Deco in its design. Such a beautiful piece.

HISTORY: Engraved 1937; 1930's Art Deco

MATERIALS: Platinum

SIZE: Ring size 6 1/4. This ring is dainty, measuring 1.5 mm in width. Weighs 2 g.

CONDITION: Good vintage condition. This has been a well loved ring, as evidenced by the faded engraving on the outside and inside, and the band is slightly more worn in one area (that same area has a slight color difference - see first photo - likely due to this ring being tested for platinum content at some point prior to my getting it). It still has a lot of life left in it.
