Vintage Egyptian Revival Scarab Bracelet

$110

Scarabs have been used for centuries in jewelry, loved for their symbolism around protection and good luck.  Real beetles were used in Victorian times, and the trend evolved to carved stones in later decades.  This bracelet is a beautiful example of a scarab bracelet, done in 12k gold fill. This bracelet does contain a safety clasp chain which may have been added to the bracelet at a later time.

Lucky number seven scarabs are lined end-to-end with links in between, and there is a colorful variety of scarabs represented, including onyx, tiger's eye, and several types of quartz.

HISTORY: Estimated 1960's. It has a dangling charm which reads "Sterling" and "D'Abros"

MATERIALS: 12k gold filled (marked on clasp), onyx, tiger's eye and quartz stones

SIZE: Measures 6 7/8" end-to-end. The width of each scarab is 5/16".  It would fit a smaller or medium wrist best.

CONDITION: Good condition. Some of the gold filled is worn in places, giving the bracelet more of a silver than gold look.

This would make a wonderful everyday bracelet, layering piece, or gift. *Please note antique box not included with purchase.
