Floral Gold Filled Bangle

Undeniably classic and increasingly rare - a gorgeous gold filled hinged bangle with Art Deco style engraving. A flower makes up the central motif on both sides of this bracelet, with leaves and beautiful curved lines surrounding it. Unlike many gold filled bangles, this one is of a medium size and so will fit a variety of wrists. With its feminine details and shape, this would make for a perfect wedding bangle, but it is also a great stacking piece.

HISTORY: Estimated 1940's. The maker's mark on the inside of the piece is for Binder Brothers, founded in the 1920's in NYC.

MATERIALS: 12k gold filled metal.

SIZE: This piece would fit a small to medium wrist best, although would likely fit up to a larger wrist. The internal circumference of this piece is 6.5", and it is oval in shape and hinges open nice and wide (2 3/4") to easily slip over the hand. The width of the piece is 1/2".

CONDITION: Overall great vintage condition. There is just a small amount of wear to the gold fill along the edges of the bangle and near the hinge and opening, but it's barely noticeable. The gold fill on the rest has shined up beautifully. The chain does have a darker patina on it which didn't shine up as easily, and in fact the chain appears as if it could have been a replacement one.

An absolutely classic piece!
