Silver Horseshoe Charm Necklace

A simple and classic good luck charm in sterling silver - the horseshoe. Since ancient times, the horseshoe has been believed to protect people from evil spirits and goblins, as both were deterred by its metal makeup. Households would often hang horseshoes from their front doors, and over time the symbol made its way into jewelry. Of course, the symbol is also been revered by horse lovers the world over!

HISTORY: New chain and 1960's charm

MATERIALS: Sterling silver

SIZE: 18" chain. The charm hangs 7/8" from the chain and measures 9/16" in width. The charm is a lightweight one.

CONDITION: Lovely condition. There is a slight patina to the jump ring. The chain is new.
